The general use is to place the mold counter on the Parting Line and use the opening and closing of the template to trigger the counter.

However, there are some special molds that require the counter to be placed outside of the Parting Line,
in which case an extension rod is required to trigger the counter.

BALLSUM mold counter can be triggered by an extension rod.

Due to the special design of the structure
Trigger button of Ballsum mold counter is not located in the center of the counter, but have an eccentricity of about 1.95mm
(please refer to the drawing).

Ballsum mold counter do not have threaded holes in the buttons, so they are not suitable for screwed extensions.
